Our Dentist
James graduated from Loma Linda University in 2007 and worked as a contract dentist in Walla Walla, WA then at a small clinic in Havre, MT. In 2012, James acquired the long-running Kalispell Family Dental practice that had been home to Denny Schultz, DDS. Dr. Schultz remained on as an associate for 2 years until his retirement in 2014.
Unlike a lot of offices where the doctor is hidden in the back, James is readily available to talk with patients and is involved in much of the day to day happenings in the office. While in college, James met his wife Brooke and together they have two kids, Anders and Ella. When he’s not in the office you’re likely to find James playing hockey, skiing, snowmobiling, biking or watching the Vikings.
Hygienist
Tycy is smart and hard-working. Graduating from Utah College of Dental Hygiene with a 3.9 GPA, she also managed to snag the Excellence in Professional Patient Care Award in 2012. She is friendly and caring and honestly, you’d have to be a little bit crazy not to like her. She is happily married with four kids and enjoys cross-country skiing, and reading, and also plays clarinet as a member of the Flathead Valley Community Band.
Dental Assistant
Raised in the Flathead Valley, Cami enjoys working with our local patients. You will either find her at the front desk or assisting in the back, there’s not much this hardworking woman can’t do. She’s smart, loyal, and a devoted mother to two kids. In her downtime, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Front Office
Raised up in the Bitterroot Valley, Tonya is the newest member of Kalispell Family Dental and has proved to be a perfect addition. She’s witty, fun, and caring. Some of you may recognize her as she has worked previously at a specialty office doing treatment plans and insurances before she took a couple years off RVing around the US. When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, camping, and is a wonderful grandma to her grandson.
Dental Assistant
Sandy has been a long-standing member of the Kalispell Family Dental clan. She worked for Dr. Schultz for many years and continues to assist with James. Sandy is a local girl with more experience in the dental world than most of us combined. She lights up the office with her beautiful smile and personality. On her days off she loves fishing and spending time with her husband. She is blessed with many grandchildren and is a master at canning food and a wonderful cook.
Dental Assistant
Holly has been in the valley for over thirty years. She has been a dental assistant for over twenty years and has so many amazing qualities that she has added to our office. She is the first to spot a baby deer or have food for the birds, I mean squirrels, and always offers a helping hand. Holly loves huckleberry picking and our staff gets to reap the benefits of the time she spends in the woods with her husband and three dogs. She’s all about her chickens, spending time with her church family and loving on others.
Dental Assistant
Chance was born and raised here in the valley. When he’s not at work, he keeps busy at the basketball courts, doing flips at parkour, or boxing. For a young man he has shown without a doubt the characteristics of gentleness, kindness, and compassion. He always has a great attitude and all the ladies in the office love “mothering him” and James is happy to have someone to talk sports with.
